All The Time

Czech Pilsner

4.9% a.b.v.

Our take on the classic Bohemian Pilsner, given extra time to properly lager. Pouring clear bright gold with a frothy white head, this beer has finesse. Fresh and light bodied with crisp flavors of roasted grain, light citrus and pepper followed by a clean, slightly floral, dry finish.

Iron Mike

Iron Mike Pale Ale

5.6% a.b.v.

Clean, fresh and hoppy. This American ale has a crisp flavor profile with notes of toasted grain, grapefruit, toffee, orange peel and floral hops. So popular, it was the first to be canned!

Miss V's Blueberry

4.9% a.b.v

An American style unfiltered ale - light, clean and crisp with a gentle fruit finish. Beer first, fruit second: we steam the blueberries separately and add the extracted juices during fermentation.  Deliciously popular year round!

Almost Always

Bone Shaker Brown

5.4% a.b.v.

An English-style brown ale with a smooth, biscuit-like malt body, balanced bitterness and semi dry finish.  Both the aroma and taste have notes of toasty grains, nuts, and soft caramel.

Draft and 16 oz Cans

Hoffman Weiss

Hoffman Weiss

5.4% a.b.v.

A traditional Bavarian-style wheat beer, this unfiltered golden ale delivers aromas and flavors of banana and clove with notes of coriander and white pepper. There is a subtle tartness in the background and a slight twang from the malted wheat. It is low in bitterness yet, big on flavor, all derived from the unique yeast strain. (No bananas were harmed while brewing this beer!) Some enjoy this ale served with a lemon slice.

Square Tail Stout

Square Tail Stout

5.8% a.b.v.

Our rendition of an English dry stout is a robust dark ale offering notes of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee.  Full bodied but not too heavy, rich and smooth with clean, balanced bitterness and a creamy mouth-feel.  Not too sweet, not too dry…excellent any time of year, cheers!

As Much As We Can

East Intervale IPA

4.5% a.b.v.

Our take on the increasingly popular “session” IPA is deep gold in color with orange hues, capped with a frothy off white head. The bitterness of this IPA has been kept in check, balancing out the simple malt profile. We focused all of our hop additions on maximizing flavor and aroma in this low ABV brew, thus providing notes of floral citrus and pine. You’re welcome.

HELL YES! Helles Lager

4.7% a.b.v.

The easy drinking session beer of Bavaria, with traditional decoction mash, gives this beer surprisingly rich caramel notes in its malt profile. The style is light in both color and body with a delicate flavor and a medium crisp finish. Our first Helles brew was in spring of 2012 and was a grand success.

Imperial Stout

Imperial Stout

9% a.b.v.

We make our version of this classic export ale unique by adding a special decoction cycle to our brew thus increasing the malty backbone to this once a year specialty. A generous amount of bittering hops balances well with the high roast, chocolate and black malt flavor. Viscosity is high and flavors improve as the ale warms in temperature.

Kearsarge Kölsch

4.9% a.b.v

Kolsch is the local specialty beer of Cologne (Köln), Germany. It is clear with a bright, straw-yellow hue, has a prominent but not extreme hoppiness, and has broad, sweet flavors kept in check by the lagering process. It is very clean, crisp and delicately balanced, and is an easy-drinking brew.

Matilda's Red Rage

Matilda's Red Rage

5.4% a.b.v.

Our version of a classic Irish red ale.  Initial flavors of caramel and toffee give way to a lightly roasted grain finish. It is copper in color, unfiltered for a full mouth feel and firmly bittered to balance the malt sweetness.  A seasonal hit we are trying to make more often.

LImited Release Draft and 16 oz Cans

Opa's Oktoberfest

5.2% a.b.v.

A German-style lager of course!  Amber in color, the nose has mild sweetness, toasted bread, dried grass and faint spices. Taste is smooth and slightly crisp with medium body and endearing toasted malt. Hints of biscuit and nuts, herbal hop and spice lead into balanced bitterness and a clean, semi-dry finish. Prost!

Slow Chair Tripel

Slow Chair Tripel

8.9% a.b.v.

An easy drinking but deceptively strong Belgian-style golden ale. The bitterness from both the hops and yeast balance out the large malt bill, offering a smooth, medium body with tastes of pear, nutty yeast, bread and butterscotch.  The substantial carbonation lends to a warming alcohol dry finish.  Enjoy the ride.

Smoke House Porter

Smoke House Porter

5% a.b.v.

This winter seasonal is a robust American porter with dark malts dominating the taste followed by strong flavors of chocolate, coffee and caramel.  The balanced bitterness allows the specialty grains to shine with the oats providing a smooth, silky mouth feel.

Cathedral Ledge Lager

Cathedral Ledge Lager

5.5% a.b.v.

This Vienna-style lager is the big brother to our Pilsner, although maltier and less bitter. This beer is amber in color with a toasted and nutty body. Noble German hops complete this well-balanced lager.

Identity Crisis

Identity Crisis

5.4% a.b.v.

What is this beer and how did it get here? We had some fun with our Bone Shaker Brown recipe, increasing the chocolate flavors and piling on the hops, including a substantial dry hop addition. The result is a smooth, easy drinking brown ale up front that finishes slightly bitter with some lingering hop flavors. If you can’t decide how to identify it, call it a hoppy brown or a brown IPA…or just call it what it is!

Draft Only

Rye Pale Ale

Rye Pale Ale

5.5% a.b.v.

American Pale Ale with 20% Rye in the malt bill, this unfiltered beer pours bright but hazy amber with orange hues and a dense rocky off-white head. The nose smells fruity up front, followed by herbal and pine notes. The rye flavor persists throughout, leading to a dry, clean finish.

Draft Only

Scottish Export Ale

Scottish Export Ale

5.25% a.b.v.

This 80 shilling, or Export Ale, is Scotland’s answer to the English bitter, with the emphasis on the malt. The hops provide just enough balance to keep this session ale from becoming cloying. The initial malt sweetness with notes of kettle caramelization gives way to a fairly dry finish and the cooler fermentation results in a clean, well-balanced beer.

“Gate Crusher”

“Gate Crusher”

9.7% a.b.v.

Named in honor of local valley native Leanne Smith, 2-time Olympian in women’s alpine skiing. A Belgian Strong Ale, full-bodied and rich, hoppy balanced with sweetness, smooth and warming, the alcohol is well hidden so be careful of the devil in disguise…
